“Five Pound a House” was founded with the aim of bringing private house trading to the
mass market, and providing a viable alternative to the traditional estate
agent.
With our easy
to use web site and low cost, our goal is to encourage more buyers and sellers
to trade houses online. The relatively high-cost and small size of many existing sites makes placing an
advert something of a gamble. At a cost of £5, vendors can afford to give their
properties national (and international) exposure with negligible outlay.
“Five Pound a House” also allows the user to place a “Wanted” advert.
In conjunction with “for-sale” adverts, this enables us to match up potential traders. They can be notified by email that a property (or wanted property)
meeting their requirements has been placed on our system.
We believe
that the internet is the ideal forum for finding and selling property. This is particularly true when the buyer
is looking for a property that is distant from their current home. “Five Pound a House” helps people to
take advantage of this, and to find or sell property from the comfort of their
own home.
